Paul has continually tailored my program to suit my shifting interests, goals and personal circumstances.... read more These have been as varied as local super sprint triathlons and Ironman, to Xterra, multi-day ultramarathon and mountain bike races. His one on one swim stroke analysis and coaching sessions are fantastic and an essential part of my significant progress in the pool. I found a couple of these a year a great complement to my normal swim training.

I get regular feed back about my training and this really helps me stay on track, even when my work is busy or there are family commitments that means i have to drop a session. I'd picked up a lot of things from youtube up until that point that actually made what I was doing worse , simply because I... read more could not visualise what I was doing wrong, so I ended up doing the wrong things to 'correct' it. Paul was very helpful in identifying issues with my swimming technique and gave me specific drills/pointers to improve. The video footage enabled me to visualise the issues, act upon the advice given and make some immediate improvements. Paul used underwater headphones to keep me on track with practising the drills through the session which was a huge help too. I would highly recommend.

You don’t need to buy any specific equipment. Your coach will work with the equipment you have available.

The coach/athlete relationship takes time to develop and takes a commitment from both to succeed.
Your coach will work with you to either manage the injury, following the advice of any medical experts.
If you cannot run, a focus on cycling & swimming may be best for example.
Your coach will use Training Peaks to inform you of your training sessions which have been set.
