F4L Triathlete, Helen, recently raced IRONMAN Cork. Yep the one where the swim got cancelled due to the sea conditions and it rained from start to finish... that one.

Why do you do Triathlon: To challenge myself and travel to new places
What is your sporting back ground: I grew up riding horses and show jumping, but lost interest when I stopped competing (theres still a field full of old horses), I started cycling around 4 or 5 years ago, and did my first 10km run in 2016, I always wondered if I could do an ironman and entered Bolton last year when I was drunk. I haven’t looked back. I love it all.
What attracted you to F4L: I want to be awesome and knew I would have to get some help from someone who knew what they were doing for me to be my best
What are your targets: How long is a piece of string? I want to do everything and be good at it. in the short term, I have entered Cork Ironman 2020, but I would like to get something else planned for later in the year too.
