Every athlete is different. We all have our own personal motivations for doing Triathlon or IRONMAN. This is Cezar's...
Why do you do Triathlon:
I am new in the world of triathlon. I have never finished a triathlon or any major scale race. The only organised runs I have participated to date are the Great Run 10k and Try on the Tyne 10K (July 2019 and August 2019) and along the way I hope to participate in several other races to prepare myself for the end goal. I have decided to go on this journey in memory of my mother and great grandmother that died a year ago (June and September 2019) and raise money for SEO London to provide help for students from underrepresented and challenging backgrounds.
What is your sporting back ground:
I always enjoyed practicing sports having tried a multitude of them for various periods of time. The longest sport I performed was basketball in high school for 4 years. I also practice two Krav Maga for two years prior to moving to England as well as occasionally playing football and tennis with friends.
What attracted you to F4L:
The accreditation, professionalism and expertise of the coach with high levels of experience that will help me reach my goal and push my physical capabilities to its highest point. The structure and system of training is very well organised and takes into account my schedule and needs.
What are your targets:
My target is to finish the 2020 UK Bolton Ironman. I want to perform at my best and with the help on dedicated coaches reach my goal and finish one of the most difficult one day sporting events in the world.
Favourite motivational quote:
I have two favourite quotes:
“We all make choices in life, but in the end our choices make us.” – Andrew Ryan
“When you are backed against a wall, break the goddamn thing down” – Harvey Specter
Favourite training song / music track:
I don’t have a specific song or music type that I enjoy while training. Sometimes I feel different about what motivates me in terms of music but mainly I enjoy rock music (Sabaton, Disturbed, etc) or sometimes rap songs (Eminem, epic rap battles of history, etc)
