Triathlete: Isy
Isy has been with F4L since January this year. We met originally at the F4L Triathlon Coaching Mallorca training camp in 2018. She has developed as an athlete and become competitive not just in Triathlon, but has podiums in open water swimming and running races too!
Why do you do Triathlon: it allows me to maintain discipline through my training which is measurable and attainable. Triathlon also permits me to improve myself both mentally and physically.
What is your sporting back ground: 3 day eventing! I was not a sporty person at all ?
What attracted you to F4L: I was over-training … Paul was the right person to take the reins and manage my training both during and outside racing. I have my own business (Elite Performance Therapy) and difficult to manage training effectively…. it’s a huge weight off my shoulders knowing I’m making the best use of my time!
What are your targets: to get faster! My main aim is to qualify for world’s 70.3…and to motivate others that it can be done!
